Liliana Huichapan
As social workers, we face numerous challenges and bear witness to firsthand trauma ranging from the unimaginable to death. We have learned to thrive amidst chaos, often prioritize the well-being of others over our own, after all, our personal experiences and grad school trained us well. Despite our dedication to our work, we sometimes overlook the importance of prioritizing our own needs. As a result, we often find ourselves emotionally, physically, psychologically drained, and burned out, which can indicate symptoms of compassion fatigue.
My name is Liliana Huichapan, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker turned Clini-Coach, and I help social workers overcome and recover from compassion fatigue and rediscover a renewed sense of balance in both their personal and professional lives.
Let me Scream this: YOU ARE NOT ALONE!
I also felt the weight and the destruction of Compassion Fatigue in my life. I too experienced an overwhelming sense of stress, emotional, and psychological exhaustion, and burnout. I felt lost, disconnected, and trapped in an unrelenting cycle of compassion fatigue. The constant exposure to trauma and the immense responsibility was sometimes too much to carry. I questioned my ability to help others when I was struggling. Through my journey with compassion fatigue, I was able to discover a path of healing and transformation. I learned how to implement effective strategies to address compassion fatigue, learned self-care practices, and cultivated resilience. I rediscovered how to bring balance into my life and reignite my passion for helping others.
Imagine a life you can enjoy and in the career you love. Over the last decade, I've helped hundreds of social workers learn to reclaim their lives by developing a program specifically tailored to address compassion fatigue. I have made it my mission to help other social workers facing similar challenges by becoming a coach for social workers everywhere. Connect with me and embark on a life-changing journey that can make a big difference in your life.
