You can be an amazing mom AND truly love motherhood. It doesn't have to be one or the other.

Are you spending the majority of your days living in survival mode, longing for the next bedtime when you can finally take a deep breath and zone out for a bit? Whether your kids are newborns or preparing to launch into the real world, being a great mom is hard! Parenting can feel like a game of whack-a-mole, dealing with each new challenge just to have another pop-up. You may feel like you are barely keeping your head above water and feeling super guilty for secretly not loving being a mom. You want to love it but you just don't. And let me tell you, you are so not alone!

Motherhood has been the theme of my entire adult life! I first become a mom in college and knew I wanted to be a great one...I just didn't have a clue how to do that. I have spent the last 24 years parenting that kiddo, and 3 more, and learning everything I can about what it means to be an amazing mom. While I can honestly say that I love being a mom more than anything, it hasn't always felt that way. For years, I tried to fit myself into a box of what I thought a good mom was and I just never felt comfortable in those boxes. It wasn't until I figure out how to customize the role of motherhood to my strengths, passions, values, and interests, as well as the unique needs of my kids, that I truly, madly, deeply fell in love with motherhood.

I became a licensed therapist and quickly found that my passion for motherhood extended to helping clients find their motherhood mojo and become the awesome moms they are meant to be. I am not perfect, far from it. I don't believe motherhood is one-size-fits-all and won't try to fit my clients into my box or anyone else's. Being a mom is the hardest most amazing job in the world, and when you harness your individual strengths, values, and passions, you can be the mom you dream of being.
